HATEBREED's 'Live Dominance' Tops BILLBOARD's 'Music Videos' Chart

September 10, 2008

"Live Dominance", the first-ever DVD from Connecticut metal-hardcore unit HATEBREED, sold 5,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 1 on Billboard's Top Music Videos chart.

HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta says, "HATEBREED fans are #1. They have helped us do something very cool and we are extremely grateful for this. Our supporters are as diehard as they come."

HATEBREED bassist Chris Beattie adds, "Having the #1 DVD in the country is a great sense of accomplishment knowing how hard we have worked this year. This shows that metal and hardcore are still alive and well. Thanks to all our fans for your support."

A four-track "Live Dominance" iTunes audio EP is also now available featuring four songs from the new DVD, including "I Will Be Heard", "Destroy Everything", "Live For This" and "This Is Now".

"Live Dominance" includes over two hours of live footage including the full sold-out show at Harpo's in Detroit shot in March of this year on the band's Supremacy tour. The multi-camera concert was filmed entirely in high definition. The DVD also includes a ton of bonus features shot specifically for the release including brand-new band interviews, bonus live videos, fan testimonials, and much, much more. "Live Dominance" was directed and edited by Kevin Custer with musical production/mixing coming from Grammy Award winner Josh Wilbur (LAMB OF GOD).
