HELLWITCH Signs With XTREEM MUSIC

Xtreem Music has announced the signing of one of the oldest and most legendary extreme metal bands, Florida's death/thrashers HELLWITCH.

HELLWITCH formed back in 1984 and released several demos and 7" EPs during the second half of the '80s before issuing a highly acclaimed debut album, "Syzygyal Miscreancy", in 1990 and a mini-CD, "Terraasymmetry", in 1992. They recorded a few more demos through the '90s until they finally completed their 2005 recording, "The Epitome of Disgrace", which led to an agreement with Xtreem Music.

HELLWITCH's sophomore album will be recorded this summer for a late summer release. A couple of recent demo tracks are available for listening on the band's MySpace page.

As previously reported, Open Grave Records recently announced that HELLWITCH's classic album "Syzygial Miscreancy" will be part of the Open Grave Records Underground Reissues series along with "Pictures of Heaven" from CRUCIFER and "Vomiting The Trinity…The Exterminance Discography" from EXTERMINANCE.

The original "Syzygial Miscreancy" was released in 1990 via Wild Rags Records, and was recorded at legendary Morrisound Studios with veteran producer Scott Burns.

The reissue will consist of the original 7 tracks:

07. Purveyor Of Fear

A fall release is expected.
