HENRY ROLLINS' IFC Series Gets Revamped
September 16, 2005MTV.com is reporting that Henry Rollins' Independent Film Channel series "Henry's Film Corner" is getting something of a revamping. "The Henry Rollins Show", which will launch in March, will incorporate a wider range of guests, a more expansive array of topics, and musical performances. Rollins will also have a segment called "Teeing Off," an irreverent take on the traditional monologue as Henry rants on everything from pop culture to politics to the guy who annoyed him at the grocery store.
Henry Rollins has just completed his sixth USO tour to provide a morale boost to troops stationed in Egypt and Turkey. Rollins met with service members, toured a variety of job posts and sign autographs. Rollins's past USO tour stops include Kuwait, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Qatar, Honduras, Japan, Korea and the United Arab Emirates. The Washington, D.C. native also has visited troops recuperating at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center.
