HINDER: 'Rockline' Appearance Available For Streaming
November 4, 2008Oklahoma hard rockers HINDER were the featured guests on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" with host Bob Coburn on Monday, November 3. The program is now available for streaming at this location.
HINDER's second album, "Take It to the Limit", was released today (November 4). The band has been posting video pieces chronicling the entire recording process on a new widget, which can be found below. They've also included video bios of all the members where fans can take a glimpse into a day in the group's life.
HINDER frontman Austin Winkler recently told The Pulse of Radio that the band will team up with MÖTLEY CRÜE for an arena tour early next year. Winkler did not provide any more information about the trek except that it will begin in January. HINDER will be supporting "Take It to the Limit", which has its own CRÜE connection: guitarist Mick Mars plays lead on the title track. Drummer Cody Hanson told The Pulse of Radio how they got together. "He actually called us up and wanted to do some writing," he said. "And we were like, 'Yeah, of course, I mean, would you be interested in playing some guitar on the album? And he was like, 'Absolutely,' you know. So we sent him the track and he loved it, and we ended up going up to his house. And, you know, he laid down a few different passes of the solo on 'Take It to the Limit'. So it was an amazing experience, you know, getting to meet one of your idols, I guess."
"Take It to the Limit"'s first single is called "Use Me".
The new album will follow up HINDER's triple-platinum 2005 debut, "Extreme Behavior".
HINDER is currently headlining the Jägermeister Music Tour, with TRAPT and REV THEORY as the opening acts.
