HOUSE OF HEAVY: DEF LEPPARD Cover Available For Streaming

February 19, 2009

HOUSE OF HEAVY, the Swedish band formed by MASQUERADE bassist Henrik Lundberg and P.I.G. singer Mattias Wellhag, has posted its cover version of the DEF LEPPARD track "Billy's Got a Gun". The song comes off HOUSE OF HEAVY's debut album, out now on Metal Blade and Spiritual Beast.

Commented Henrik: "Both me and Mattias are huge DEF LEPPARD fans and we had lots of fun recording it. It turned out so great that we decided to put it on the album."

Formed in 2006 by longtime friends Henrik Lundberg and Mattias Wellhag, HOUSE OF HEAVY "crafts blistering, arena rock that echoes the late-'80s output of classic metal with a modern twist," according to a press release. "The duo began collaborating after spending years in and out of other bands. Two years of living-room rehearsals, home-recorded demos, and late nights spent just listening to music eventually landed the pair a digital distribution deal with Metal Blade and an international deal with Spiritual Beast Records, resulting in HOUSE OF HEAVY's full-length debut in January 2009."
