ILL NINO To Release 'Enigma' In June

February 21, 2007

Bilingual Latin metal band ILL NINO has issued the following update:

"We've been receiving tons of e-mails from all of you asking 'What has ILL NINO been up to?' Well, here it goes... After three months working on this album, we're currently putting the final touches on our new album 'Enigma', which will be out mid-June on Cement Shoes/Universal. Also next week we're shooting our video to our first single, which we will release in March for all of you to see, and an MP3 for all of you to rock to. Additionally, many of you have been asking when we will tour again? Well, ILL NINO will be co-headining 14 shows in the U.K. and Ireland starting April 8-23 with our brothers DROWNING POOL. We can't wait; we havent toured with DP for almost three years...it's been too long. A string of dates in support of the new album covering the U.S., Europe, South America, Mexico, Australia, and Asia are currently being booked in support of 'Enigma'. See you all on the road."

ILL NINO's last release was the "The Undercover Sessions" EP, which came out last November through Cement Shoes Records. The CD was comprised of three of ILL NINO's favorite cover songs from bands they loved growing up as fans, and two brand new songs — all overseen by legendary producer Andy Johns (LED ZEPPELIN, VAN HALEN, OZZY OSBOURNE),Dave Chavarri and Eddie Wohl (ANTHRAX, 36 CRAZYFISTS, MACHINE HEAD). The EP — the band's first release through Cement Shoes — was just a taste of what's to come from ILL NINO on their highly anticipated fourth full-length studio album.
