IMPALER To Release DVD
July 3, 2003The early 80's shock/horror metal band IMPALER celebrate their 20-year-anniversary with the release of their first DVD, due out by year's end. IMPALER were originally signed to Combat Records and released the classics "Rise Of The Mutants" (featured in the film "Trick Or Treat" with Ozzy, as well as making Tipper Gore and the PMRC's most-hated list),and "If We Had Brains, We'd Be Dangerous", produced by HUSKER DU's Bob Mould. The as-yet-untitled DVD will include all videos through the band's blood-soaked career as well as live footage from the recent tour, featuring reunions of guitarist Michael Torok and bassist Commander Court Hawley, interviews and general mayhem. The disc will be released by Minnesota icon Earl Root on Root Of All Evil Records. IMPALER are currently touring behind their latest CD "Old School Ghouls".
