IMPERANON Finish Writing Four New Songs

November 11, 2004

Finnish melodic thrash/death metallers IMPERANON have finished writing four new songs for their sophomore album, tentatively due late next year through Nuclear Blast Records.

The upcoming CD will be the follow-up to the group's debut, "Stained", which was released in May through Nuclear Blast. That CD was recorded at Sonic Pump Studios with engineer Nino Laurenne and producer Titus Hjelm and was mixed at Finnvox studios with Mikko Karmila.

IMPERANON recently parted ways with guitarist Lauri Koskenniemi and replaced him with Teemu Mäntysaari. Lauri decided to quit IMPERANON in order to focus on his other band, CRYSTAL BLAZE, according to a posting on the group's web site.
