IRON MAIDEN Joined On Tour By Football Star PAUL GASCOIGNE

August 26, 2008

British tabloid Daily Star reports that retired English football player Paul Gascoigne joined his friends IRON MAIDEN on their massive Somewhere Back in Time World Tour 2008. Gascoigne, who had reportedly just spent two months in rehab, jetted out to Prague to "clear his head" after his romance with ex-wife Sheryl and see MAIDEN playing sold-out show at Slavia Stadium for 35,000 fans. He watched the band and then joined them in Italy and Split, Croatia. Football idol "Gazza" is a longtime pal of MAIDEN and he first partied with them 10 years ago in 1998 when he was a member of MAIDEN's Virtual XI football team.
