IRONFIRE Part Ways With Guitarist
April 28, 2003Danish metallers IRONFIRE have parted ways with guitarist Søren Jensen and have replaced him with an as-yet-undisclosed new axeman. "Søren decided to quit the band, as he didn't feel it was moving at the pace he had hoped," the group said in an official statement.
IRONFIRE have spent the past few weeks at Nifilheim Studios recording and mixing their brand new demo. 11 "breathtaking tracks" were reportedly laid down, "ranging from heavy mid-tempos to full-force tracks." The group, who issued two full-length albums through the Sanctuary/Noise label, are hoping to release the follow-up to 2001's "On The Edge" later in the year.
