JACKNIFE Announce New Drummer

Dallas, TX-based JACKNIFE have announced the addition of Austin drummer Josh Montano (CREMATORIUM, WAR WITHIN) to the group's ranks. "We tried out a bunch of amazing drummers but we all knew Josh was the right guy after just the first song," remarks vocalist Joe Ortiz. "He is the best drummer we have ever played with. He will certainly help push us to the next level."

Just off their highly successful tour with IT DIES TODAY, STILL REMAINS, SCARS OF TOMORROW and BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, JACKNIFE secured January dates with DEAD TO FALL and ION DISSONANCE. Josh's debut performance with JACKNIFE will be on January 19 in Lubbock, TX. Following is JACKNIFE's Texas run:

Jan. 19 - Winchester Pavilion - Lubbock, TX
Jan. 20 - The Brick House - Wichita Falls, TX
Jan. 21 - Gypsy Tea Room - Dallas, TX (also with DRYLINE)
Jan. 22 - Walter's on Washington - Houston, TX

JACKNIFE's latest CD, "Moment of Reckoning", was released in September via Zero-Sum Records, the new label founded by DROWNING POOL (Wind-Up),DAMAGEPLAN (Atlantic) and LOSA (Metal Blade) manager Paul Bassman and Chris Paluska, manager of LOSA and former tour manager for DAMAGEPLAN.
