JASON BONHAM Going Deep On New LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE Tour

April 8, 2015

According to The Pulse Of Radio, JASON BONHAM'S LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE has just announced a 15-date North American swing. Bonham and the band kick things off on May 3 at Hollywood, Florida's Hard Rock Live and wind things down across the country on May 31 at L.A.'s Greek Theater. The new show will encompass the band's 1969 debut "Led Zeppelin" and "Led Zeppelin II" — along with favorites from 1971's "Led Zeppelin IV" and 1975's "Physical Graffiti" and many other deep cuts.

Bonham said in the statement announcing the dates: "It's been about a year since we last went out with the band and I'm excited to bring the LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE back out on the road with a new energy and a diverse set list. This time around we are doing more album work and including a lot of songs that LED ZEPPELIN never played live before. We have a few cities where we'll do two consecutive nights. The second night will be different from the first night; therefore, if you come both nights, you won't be disappointed. There will be giant screens with home movies and we are bringing back the 'Moby Dick' duet as I know it was missed on our last run. See you in May."

The ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE dates fulfills Jason Bonham's life-long dream of performing alongside his father, ZEPPELIN's legendary late drummer, John Bonham, via onstage clips. "We do '(When The) Levee Breaks' — which is a wonderful part of the show, which is one of my favorite parts of the show because I actually get to play with dad," he said. "Like when I do 'Moby Dick'; it's a moment where I'm playing with my father. For people who weren't aware, but, we didn't have two drum kits in the house. So when I get to do this these days, it's really for the first time ever that we really get to play together, because we never did in real life. We never really actually got to experience that. And I'm reading articles on what my father had said, where he said, 'Y'know, my son plays drums, and I'd really love to have him play next to me at the Royal Albert Hall.'"
