JIMI HENDRIX Amp Set For Auction In Rock Memorabilia Sale

The Daily Record reports shat rock memorabilia, including an amp once owned by Jimi Hendrix, is to be sold at auction on July 10, Christie's said yesterday.

The 1966 Marshall amplifier used by Hendrix in concert between 1967 and 1969 will be up for sale as will a pair of the flamboyant guitarist's stripy, flared trousers.

Other memorabilia from the world of pop in the sale includes a rare poster from punk band THE SEX PISTOLS' early career.
