JOE LYNN TURNER: South American Dates Cancelled
October 13, 2007DEEP PURPLE fan site The Highway Star reports that legendary hard rock singer Joe Lynn Turner's (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEN) previously announced South American dates in November and December have been cancelled. According to a posting on the singer's web site, "it's possible that Joe will do some shows in South America in 2008."
During stints with DEEP PURPLE, Ritchie Blackmore's RAINBOW and Yngwie Malmsteen's RISING FORCE, singer Joe Lynn Turner was credited with helping these legendary rock bands redefine their sound, diversify their repertoire and achieve even more commercial success. On "Second Hand Life", his first USA solo release (Friday Music) in nearly five years and tenth solo album to date, Joe proudly showcases the many sides to his rock and roll personality.
The USA edition of "Second Hand Life", which came out in August, features the additional track "Freedom's Wings".
