JUCIFER: 'Fleur De Lis' Video Released

February 25, 2010

"Fleur de Lis", the new video from Athens, Georgia's JUCIFER, can be viewed below. The clip was directed by the band's own Edgar Livengood and was edited by David Hall of Handshake Inc. ("Maryland Deathfest: The Movie", FUCK THE FACTS' "Disgorge Mexico: The Movie", etc.). The song comes off JUCIFER's third album, "L'autrichienne", which was released in March 2008 via Relapse Records. The follow-up to "If Thine Enemy Hunger" is a 21-song effort based around the French queen Marie Antoinette, who was executed by guillotine at the height of the French Revolution.

JUCIFER recorded "L'autrichienne" with former GLANDS bassist Andy Baker (MASERATI, MERCURY PROGRAM, MENDOZA LINE) at his Bakery studios.

In other news, JUCIFER has premiered the first track, "Rifles", from the band's forthcoming release, "Throned In Blood", via Stereogum. The CD will be released this April via the group's own Nomadic Fortress label. Additional release details will be announced shortly.

JUCIFER is currently touring through the Southwest and will be on the road all spring. The band has a stretch of California dates in March and will be performing as part of this year's Maryland Deathfest and the SWR Barroselas Metalfest.
