JUNGLE ROT Announce New Guitarist, Seek New Label Home

June 11, 2005

Wisconsin-based death metallers JUNGLE ROT have announced the addition of guitarist James Genenz (current FLESHGRIND bassist) to the group's ranks. "James has filled in on the last couple tours and recently it was decided he should just join permanently," the band write in their latest update.

"We have just returned from our successful maiden voyage overseas with CATASTROPHIC, INCANTATION, FUNERUS, and HEXENHAMMER, and needless to say we had a great time. We felt quite at home in Europe as the fans greeted us with open arms every night. It was great to meet everyone and make new friends. Pictures and tour recaps can be found at our official site at www.junglerot.net or our MySpace page at www.myspace.com/junglerot.

"In other news, JUNGLE ROT will be hitting the road once again, this time in support of HATE ETERNAL and KRISIUN. We will be covering for INCANTATION on the Canadian dates due to immigration problems with Canada. There are also shows booked in between those dates at various locations. JUNGLE ROT will also be performing at this year's Ohio Death Fest 2005 in Lakewood, Ohio.

"JUNGLE ROT will begin writing the follow-up to 2004's 'Fueled by Hate' in the coming months. We have also finished our contractual obligation with Century Media/Olympic Recordings are in the process of finding a new label to call home. Already talking with a few very promising labels, but will consider all offers. Interested parties should contact us immediately!"
