KAMELOT Singer's Homecoming

January 15, 2009

KAMELOT's Norwegian singer Roy S. Khan will perform in his hometown of Elverum with the Florida-based metal band for the first time ever in the spring. This special outdoor event will take place on Saturday, May 23 near Norsk Skogmuseum (Norwegian Forest Museum). Support at the gig will come from PAGAN'S MIND as well as other local acts. The organizers for this event plan to use the "biggest mobile stage in Norway" for KAMELOT's first concert in Elverum.

SPV/Steamhammer will release KAMELOT's "Ghost Opera" (2007) and "The Black Halo" (2005) albums as gatefold double LPs. This will mark the first vinyl releases for the band.

The release dates are as follows:

"Ghost Opera":

February 27: Germany, Austria, Switzerland
March 2: Rest of Europe
March 24: USA, Canada

"The Black Halo":

March 24: USA, Canada
March 27: Germany, Austria, Switzerland
March 30: Rest of Europe

The double-CD "The Second Coming" limited-edition slipcase design includes the disc featuring all the songs from the regular album, plus ten additional live tracks recorded live in Belgrade Serbia during the band's 2007 world tour, the bonus tracks "Seasons End", "Pendulous Fall", "Epilogue" and the remix of "Rule The World". The two videos for "Human Stain" and "Memento Mori" (live) are included, and on top of that, the package features new artwork and a comprehensive booklet.

The band recently put the finishing touches on the video for the song "Love You To Death". The clip was shot a few months ago in Belgrade, Serbia with ICode an it "turned out beautiful and tragic and really fits the song and feel we were hoping for," says guitarist Thomas Youngblood.
