KATAKLYSM Reach Agreement With Canadian Label Regarding Re-Release Of Early Albums

Canadian death metallers KATAKLYSM have reached an agreement with Linus Ent./Warner Music Canada regarding the re-release of the group's "Victims of this Fallen World" (1998) and "Northern Hyperblast Live" (1999) albums — a "deal that will benefit both parties involved," according to a press release. "The band is happy that this got solved in a good way, its not something you see often in the music businness."

The U.S. release will contain the new version of "Victims of this Fallen World" (newly re-recorded, remixed and remasterd) and "Northern HyperbLast" live DCD (2 in 1),Canada and Europe will get the original version of "Victims…"/"Northern Hyperblast Live" DCD (2 in 1),while both Europe and Canada will see the new version of "Victims of this Fallen World" released separately sometime in 2005 .

The release schedule is as follows:

USA: Candlelight USA/Caroline (October)
Canada: Linus Ent./Warner Music Canada (September)
Europe: Blackend/Phd (September)
