KILLSWITCH ENGAGE Postpones Next Three European Dates Due To Guitarist's Back Injury

January 13, 2007

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE has been forced to postpone the London, Bristol and Paris shows of their current European tour due to guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz sustaining a serious back injury.

A spokesperson for the band said, "The band are extremely disappointed and send their apologies to the fans. We hope to have news on rescheduling the dates shortly."

The affected shows are as follows:

Jan. 13 - London, UK @ Brixton Academy
Jan. 14 - Bristol, UK @ Academy
Jan. 16 - Paris, UK @ Elysee Montmartre

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's new album, "As Daylight Dies", has sold 167,000 copies in the United States since its November 21 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD is the follow up to 2004's Grammy-nominated album "The End of Heartache", which is nearly certified gold and 2005's gold-selling DVD "(Set This) World Ablaze".

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE will team up with DRAGONFORCE, CHIMAIRA and HE IS LEGEND for the first annual No Fear Music Tour, set to kick off late February.
