KISS Guitarist Interviewed In London

Guitar amp company Hughes & Kettner conducted an interview with KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer when the band performed on March 2, 2010 in front of capacity crowd of 800 at the O2 Academy Islington in London, England. Watch the chat below.

Thayer found his amp of choice in the Hughes & Kettner Duotone. In fact, he was so enthused to chance upon an amp so good that he put his name on a Duotone signature series model. It now adorns the amp's shining blue Plexiglas front panel, alongside his official KISS logo. Adding a stylish cosmetic touch, the amp and the matching signature edition cabinet (CC 412 A30 SE) are decked out in a highest-quality faux croc leather covering.

Duotone delivers to-die-for tone, but takes the one-sound-wonder of vintage amps a significant step further.

When Hughes & Kettner set out to design this modern classic, it collaborated with an amp-tuning specialist to embrace the pros' most frequently asked for modifications. The top four demands are more tone, more attack, a tube-driven effects loop and a clean channel that merits its name!
