KITTIE: More New Music Posted Online

January 15, 2007

Canadian metal band KITTIE has uploaded three new tracks — "Flower of Flesh and Blood", "Around Your Heart" and "Sweet Destruction Interlude" — to its MySpace page. All three cuts come off the group's new album, "Funeral for Yesterday", due on February 20, 2007 via KITTIE's record label, X of Infamy.

As previously reported, KITTIE took part in an acoustic jam and interview on Sirius Satellite Radio's "Hard Attack" on December 23. A repeat broadcast is scheduled for Tuesday, January 16 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

A trailer for the DVD that will be available as a companion disc with "Funeral for Yesterday" has been posted online at YouTube.com.

KITTIE's new CD was recorded at Retromedia Studio in Red Bank, New Jersey with producer Jack Ponti, who has previously worked with BON JOVI, SKID ROW, and ALICE COOPER. Other songtitles set to appear on the new album include "Never Again", "The Change", "Breathe", "Last Goodbye", and "Slow Motion". The band recently finished mixing the effort with producer Kevin Shirley (IRON MAIDEN, DREAM THEATER).

KITTIE will team up with WALLS OF JERICHO, DEAD TO FALL, 36 CRAZYFISTS and IN THIS MOMENT for "The Funeral for Yesterday Tour" beginning in early February.
