KORN Frontman To Begin Recording Vocals For New Album Next Week
May 13, 2005According to a post by KORN frontman Jonathan Davis at ButtSexCrips.com, KORN have finished recording the instrumental parts for their upcoming album, "Souvenir of Sadness", and all that is left to be recorded are his vocals. Davis is currently scheduled to begin laying down his tracks next week.
KORN have worked with several producers during the pre-production stage for the follow-up to 2003's "Take a Look in the Mirror", including Linda Perry, Atticus Clark, The Matrix, and Dallas Austin. Among the cuts that are slated for inclusion on the upcoming CD are "Liar", "Revolution" (described by Davis as "an old-school PARLIAMENT tune"),"Polotix", "Last Legal Drug", "Le Petit Mort" and "Souvenir of Sadness".
KORN and rapper XZIBIT's newly recorded cover of PUBLIC ENEMY's "Fight the Power" is among the exclusive tracks are featured on the soundtrack for "XXX: State of the Union", out now on Jive Records.
