KORN: 'Politics' Video Posted Online

October 4, 2006

KORN's video for the third single from its "See You on the Other Side" album, "Politics", has been made available for viewing at MP3.com. The clip was shot during the band's performance on August 26, 2006 at the Alpine Valley Ampitheatre in East Troy, Wisconsin. Along with a traditional camera shoot, the band put handheld cameras in the hands of ten lucky members of its fanclub and local area fans who were given all-access passes to shoot the performance and any behind-the-scenes footage that they choose.

KORN frontman Jonathan Davis told MTV.com earlier this week that the band is already jumping back in the studio to work on its eighth proper album.

"We're just going to be riffing out and compiling ideas," he said. "Whenever we came off the road, we went right into the studio, so we have six or seven songs done and we're going to work on some more."

Once enough songs are written, KORN will take them to the Matrix or Atticus Ross, the producers behind last year's "See You on the Other Side".

"It's really aggressive, just weird sounds," Davis said of the songs that have been worked on so far. "It's hard to tell right now 'cause they're in demo form, but the overall vibe is it's a lot heavier. It's not 'See You on the Other Side' Part 2."
