Label: SLIPKNOT To Record 3-4 More Songs For New Album

January 12, 2004

According to a posting at the Roadrunner Records web site, SLIPKNOT are officially back in the Hollywood Hills, California as of Monday, January 12 finishing up the recording of their as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2001's "Iowa", tentatively due this summer. "Word has it the band is still going to lay down 3-4 more full songs, and that Corey [Taylor] is to be elbow deep in vocals over the next couple of weeks. More details to come as the time draws closer..."

As previously reported, SLIPKNOT drummer Joey Jordison will take time out from the recording sessions for the new CD to play two shows in California with his other band, MURDERDOLLS.

The dates are as follows:

Jan. 15 - Key Club - Hollywood, CA
Jan. 17 - Showcase Theatre - Corona, CA

Support at the shows will come from ROCK CITY MORGUE, the New Orleans, Louisiana-based band featuring former WHITE ZOMBIE bassist Sean Yseult.
