LAKE OF TEARS: Russian, Ukranian Dates Confirmed

Sweden's LAKE OF TEARS will embark on a mini-tour through Russia and Ukraine in early September, consisting of six dates, according to a posting on the band's web site. Upcoming LAKE OF TEARS shows now include:

LAKE OF TEARS are tentatively scheduled to release their as-yet-untitled seventh full-length album on August 28 via Dockyard 1, the new company formed by Dirk Putzke, Christine Stephan (both ex-Sanctuary/Noise Records) and Piet Sielck (IRON SAVIOR).

LAKE OF TEARS' most recent album, "Black Brick Road", was released in August 2004 through Noise Records. The follow-up to 2002's "The Neonai" featured cover artwork by Kristian Wåhlin, who has painted all of the previous LAKE OF TEARS covers except "Forever Autumn" (1999).
