LEAVES' EYES Explain Detroit Concert Cancellation

October 3, 2005

LEAVES' EYES, the new band formed by ex-THEATRE OF TRAGEDY singer Liv Kristine Espenaes Krull and members of ATROCITY (who are fronted by Liv's husband Alexander Krull),have posted the following message on their official web site:

"LEAVES' EYES and ATROCITY are touring in the U.S. and Canada at the moment. The beginning of the tour was a rather weird experience; unfortunately both bands and GOD DETHRONED were not able to play their shows in Detroit due to time-schedule problems. The bands apologize for that even if was not their fault! On their way to Chicago the tour bus of LEAVES' EYES and ATROCITY broke down and was hit by a truck in the middle of the highway. Luckily only the equipment trailer was badly damaged and not the passangers. After a sleepless night at the garage the bands managed to get to the Metro in Chicago and play their concerts just in time. The shows turned out great and the reactions were awesome!"

LEAVES' EYES are currently touring in support of their sophomore album, "Vinland Saga", which was released in May via Napalm Records.
