LIZZY BORDEN's AC ALEXANDER Featured In GUITAR WORLD's 'Betcha Can't Play This!'

May 16, 2011

The latest installment of Guitar World magazine's popular "Betcha Can't Play This!" segment featuring up-and-coming guitarist AC Alexander (LIZZY BORDEN, HATETIMESNINE) can be viewed below.

Alexander caught the eye of vocalist Parramore McCarty (WARRIOR, STEVE STEVENS' ATOMIC PLAYBOYS) in 2003 after he had placed first in the Guitar Center's "Guitarmageddon" competition in San Diego, California. Moving to Los Angeles, he rapidly created a reputation and name for himself as a player and gained the respect of many which led to consistent gigging and touring throughout the USA, Europe, and Japan since 2008 with WARRIOR, HATETIMESNINE, and LIZZY BORDEN, including appearances at Germany's prestigious Bang Your Head!!! and Wacken Open Air festivals as well as Rocklahoma. Alexander can also be heard on HATETIMESNINE's eponymous 2009 debut album featuring vocalist Travis Neal (DIVINE HERESY, THE BEREAVED).

AC Alexander is currently in the studio writing and recording with both HATETIMESNINE and LIZZY BORDEN while preparing for a summer tour with the latter. He also continues to offer private and online instruction guitar instruction at ACAlexanderGuitar.com.
