LOWDOWN Schedules Norwegian Gig With SATYRICON

October 21, 2006

Up-and-coming Norwegian metal quartet LOWDOWN will support SATYRICON in Honefoss, Norway, on November 3. Also scheduled to appear is the death metal act ZEENON. The concert will be held at a very intimate venue (Alfreds) holding a maximum of 300-400 people.

LOWDOWN's sophomore album, "Antidote", was released this past week in contental Europe via Black Balloon Records/Soulfood (the CD was issued in Norway on August 28).

Described as "heavy, aggressive metal in the vein of PANTERA, CHIMAIRA and MACHINE HEAD, but still with a superb melodic sense," "Antidote" was recorded by Zet from RAM-ZET, mixed by Daniel Bergstrand (MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES) and produced by Zet and the band themselves.
