MACHINE HEAD Answers Fan-Submitted Questions; Video Available

January 14, 2009

Drummer Dave McClain and guitarist/vocalist Robb Flynn of San Francisco Bay Area metallers MACHINE HEAD were recently interviewed by British music channel Scuzz where they answered questions which were submitted through Scuzz.com. Watch the question-and-answer session in two parts below.

MACHINE HEAD was forced to cancel the last two shows on its European tour with SLIPKNOT (in Antwerp and Luxembourg) in the wake of Phil Demmel collapsing onstage again during the band's second-to-last song on December 12, 2008 in Sheffield, England. Bassist Adam Duce stated at the time: "After considering the seriousness of Phil's health condition, we all feel that skipping these last two shows is the best thing to do. It's a bummer to end this tour like this after doing nine amazing weeks and three continents with SLIPKNOT, but getting Phil back to the States to get checked out is the most important thing right now. Our sincerest thanks to SLIPKNOT and CHILDREN OF BODOM for their support and understanding. We understand that it's a big disappointment to the fans, and Phil is very sorry about it, but we all feel that his health and safety is most important at this time."

MACHINE HEAD resumed touring on December 17, 2008 in Los Angeles for the first of two METALLICA shows at The Forum.
