MACHINE HEAD Finishes Filming 'Aesthetics Of Hate' Video

April 4, 2007

MACHINE HEAD drummer Dave McClain has issued the following update:

"We're on the last week of the LAMB OF GOD tour and it's honestly been one of the funnest tours we've ever done. We just finished shooting the video for 'Aesthetics of Hate' in Virginia. We couldn't have done it without the LAMB OF GOD guys, who helped with everything from finding locations, bringing food, keeping us company and even giving up their soundcheck so we could have some needed stage time. I think the video is going to be killer, lots of crusty locations and pure raw energy for this one!"

MACHINE HEAD's U.S. tour with HEAVEN AND HELL and MEGADETH will launch April 22 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Commented McClain: "It is truly an honor for all of us in MACHINE HEAD to be a part of this unbelievable tour. If that wasn't enough, we are also sharing the stage with another legendary metal great, MEGADETH. When the MACHINE HEAD set is finished everyone in this band will turn from performers into fans!"

As reported earlier today, MACHINE HEAD's "The Blackening" has sold just under 15,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at No. 54 on The Billboard 200 chart. This marks MACHINE HEAD's highest Billboard chart number ever. MACHINE HEAD's last album, "Through the Ashes of Empires", opened with less than 12,000 copies back in April 2004 to land at No. 88 on the Billboard chart.
