MANNGARD Sign With NOCTURNAL ART PRODUCTIONS

October 24, 2005

Norwegian extreme metallers MANNGARD have inked a deal with Nocturnal Art Productions. The group's first release through the label will be a reissue of their debut album, "Circling Buzzards", tentatively due in early 2006.

The lyrical concept on "Circling Buzzards" is said to be inspired by the works of American novelist William Faulkner: "A family living on a farm at the back of beyond in the American Midwest is driven to monstrosities by a tyrant father. Travellers passing by tend to disappear, and rumors have it they end up in a nearby quagmire."

MANNGARD have already played in all the biggest Norwegian cities in addition to performing twice at the Hole In The Sky heavy metal festival in Bergen. They have also provided support renowned Norwegian metallers RED HARVEST.
