MANNHAI: New Album Delayed
March 11, 2004Finnish "stoner rockers" MANNHAI, who feature in their ranks former AMORPHIS bassist Oppu Laine and ex-XYSMA frontman Joanitor Muurinen, have been forced to postpone the release date of their third album, "The Exploder", to April 5 due to "scheduling problems" at their record label, Ranch Records.
"This record is a soon-to-be-classic, and will surely take MANNHAI to the new levels. Therefore it's definately worth waiting [for]!!!" said Ranch's Mahla Moilanen.
As previously reported, the follow-up to 2002's "Evil Under the Sun" was mixed at Soundtracks studio in Helsinki with producer Jürgen Hendlmeier (FLAMING SIDEBURNS, MUTANTS) and mastered by Björn Engelmann at Cutting Room, Stockholm.
