MANTICORA Back Catalog To Be Reissued

May 3, 2005

MANTICORA's first three full-length albums — "Roots of Eternity" (1999),"Darkness with Tales to Tell" (2001) and "Hyperion" (2002) — will be reissued in on May 30 in Europe (except France) by Massacre Records, in France exclusively by Replica Records and in the U.S. by Nightmare Records.

"All three albums have been re-mastered by Andy Horn and have been re-designed with new pictures, liner notes and most important of all: Bonus tracks from the mini-CD 'Dead End Solution', released in 1997," the band write on their web site. "This is the chance for all the fans to get a hold of the songs from that mini album, since it's not available anymore."

In other news, MANTICORA are currently working on the material for their next album, "and the feeling we're getting from it by now, is that it's a little bit more aggressive than the material on '8 Deadly Sins'," the band write on their web site. "However, it's really too early to tell if all the music will be that aggressive all the way through."

"8 Deadly Sins", available now on Massacre Records, was recorded at Jailhouse studios in Horsens, Denmark and features artwork by Mattias Norén.
