MARILYN MANSON Art Exhibition Opens In Germany; Photos Available

June 27, 2007

Marilyn Manson attended the opening of his art exhibition earlier today (June 27) at Gallery Brigitte Schenk (Albertusstrasse 26) in Cologne, Germany. The exhibition will be open to the public June 28 - July 28. Check out pictures from Wire Image.

A traveling show from Space 39 Gallery in Ft. Myers, Florida to Gallery Brigitte Schenk, Manson's exhibition will feature 40 original watercolors.

Stated Robert Fontaine, Exhibition Director of Space 39 Gallery, "[Manson's] work highlights a trend in contemporary painting which does not seek to glorify the subject as something it's not but instead to visually speak of the subjects he paints with a rawness and blood-wrenching honesty. With vibrant colors dripping, muddy tones and splattered abstractions Manson owns his own voice as a powerful visual artist.....He has landed where few artists dare to tread, near an embankment where unmistakable political and psychological themes run colorfully mad."
