MARILYN MANSON's Wedding Scheduled for April

February 21, 2005

According to Toronto's 24 Hours, Marilyn Manson is set to wed fiancée Dita Von Teese this spring. Manson, who proposed to Dita last year, will exchange vows in a ceremony in April, his spokesman has confirmed.

A friend of the couple said: "Knowing them, the groom will be wearing more make-up than the bride!"

It was recently revealed that the bride's dress will be designed by British fashion legend Vivienne Westwood.

"I'm incredibly excited. It won't be a truly traditional ceremony, but it won't be anything freaky or satanic either," Von Teese said.

Manson has said he wanted the ceremony to be as romantic as possible.

The rocker criticized Britney Spears' wedding to Kevin Federline — in which they celebrated by wearing personalized tracksuits.

"If you're going to do something like getting married, it should have a sense of celebration to it. It should be grand and not in tracksuits!" he said.
