MASTODON To Team Up With AGAINST ME! For U.S. Tour

The hottest double bill of the spring kicks off May 1 with a coast-to-coast U.S. tour featuring MASTODON and AGAINST ME! Both bands will be fresh off their own headlining tours and ready to rock their fans.

Progressive rock quartet MASTODON, who hail from Atlanta, GA, will be playing songs from their critically acclaimed current album "Blood Mountain", including the No. 1 metal and Grammy-nominated single "Colony of Birchmen". The band was recently tapped as a "Discover & Download" artist on MTV.

Hailing from Gainesville, FL, punk-rock quartet AGAINST ME! is comprised of Tom Gabel (vocals/guitar),James Bowman (guitar),Andrew Seward (bass),and Warren Oakes (drums). The band will preview songs from their upcoming Sire Records debut, "New Wave". The album, produced by Butch Vig (NIRVANA, SMASHING PUMPKINS, GARBAGE) will be released this summer.

Tickets for the tour will be available through a pre-sale beginning March 7 at noon EST, through Front Gate Tickets, and will go on sale to the public through Ticketmaster and the usual outlets the weekend of March 10.
