MAYHEM, GODLESS RISING, STEEL PROPHET Singers To Guest On TOBY KNAPP's New Solo CD

Former ONWARD guitarist Toby Knapp has revealed a list of singers that will guest on his upcoming solo album, which he plans to begin recording before the end of 2009. The as-yet-untitled follow-up to this year's "Misanthropy Divine" will feature contributions from the following vocalists:

* Attila Csihar (MAYHEM)
* Jeff Gruslin (VITAL REMAINS, GODLESS RISING)
* Michael Grant (CRESCENT SHIELD, ONWARD)
* Dean Sternberg (INTO ETERNITY
* Rick Mythiasin (STEEL PROPHET)

Commented Kanpp: "All I can say is it will be heavy fucking metal that shreds!"

Knapp will have his most recent solo album, "Misanthropy Divine" (originally self-released in April of this year in limited quantities),issued in Europe on Rock It Up Records with a bonus track not included on the original version. The exact release date will be announced soon.

"Misanthropy Divine" includes four vocal tracks featuring Dean Sternberg (also of WITHINANOTHER; former touring vocalist for INTO ETERNITY) and four instrumental tracks. All instruments on the CD were played by Knapp.

Knapp recently joined GODLESS RISING, the band led by former VITAL REMAINS vocalist Jeff Gruslin.

ONWARD officially split up in June 2003 following a parting-of-the-ways with the band's record label, Century Media Records.
