March 7, 2008

"Darkest of Kin", the new video from the dynamic, Birmingham, AL hard rock band MAYLENE AND THE SONS OF DISASTER, will make its MTV2 debut this Saturday as part of the network's long-running "Headbanger's Ball" program.

The second music video from MAYLENE AND THE SONS OF DISASTER's critically acclaimed sophomore album "Maylene and the Sons of Disaster: II", "Darkest of Kin" was shot on location at Hurley Studios in California by director Soren (DEFTONES, KYUSS, A LIFE ONCE LOST). The clip features MAYLENE AND THE SONS OF DISASTER performing its hundred proof hit while skateboarding cult heavyweight Steve "Le Machine" Alba and a slew of "old-school pool skaters" cut it up in the background.

To see the "Darkest of Kin" video, go to Hurley.com or watch it below. (Note: Video stream may not be available to some non-U.S. residents.)

MAYLENE AND THE SONS of DISASTER is currently in the midst of a massive U.S. tour alongside rock heavyweights CLUTCH. The band will perform as part of the 2008 Vans Warped Tour this summer.
