MEGADETH's DAVE MUSTAINE Spoofs Men's Wearhouse Ads

June 24, 2013

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has teamed up with Kenny G for a new Funny Or Die video spoofing Men's Wearhouse commercials. The clip features Mustaine as the featured spokesman, detailing the story of Keith, a man in need of a metal album to psych him up for a big job interview.

Fan may recall that Mustaine posted a Facebook rant in December against Men's Wearhouse, the U.S.-based men's dress apparel retailer, for the company's tardiness in delivering a gift certificate he purchased for the band's tour manager.

On January 2, Men's Wearhouse responded to Mustaine via MEGADETH's Facebook page, admitting that the delay in processing the order was "unacceptable" and standing by its promise to "deliver world-class customer service."

Funny Or Die is a comedy video web site founded by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's production company, Gary Sanchez Productions. The site contains exclusive material from famous contributors such as Judd Apatow and James Franco, and also has its own team which creates original material for the site. Many clips on the site feature well-known actors like Charlie Sheen, Ryan Gosling, Patrick Stewart, Daniel Radcliffe and Charlize Theron.
