MEGADETH: Transcript Of Chat With DAVE MUSTAINE Available

Xfire, the world's premiere gaming platform, hosted a live chat today (Monday, July 16) with MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine as part of "Xfire Music Week". Fans were chosen at random to be part of the chat after signing up at Xfire.com, and autographed copies of the band's new album, "United Abominations", were given away as prizes. MEGADETH's U.S. tour this fall kicks off in Anchorage, Alaska on September 4, taking the band through 24 U.S. cites ending up in Norfolk Virginia on October 6. Support on the dates will come from IN THIS MOMENT and THE CONFESSION.

MEGADETH's latest CD, "United Abominations", has sold 109,000 copies in the United States since its May 15 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
