METAL MIKE CHLASCIAK Announces NAMM Appearance, New 'Signature' Presets

January 13, 2003

HALFORD guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak will be giving a series of special performances at NAMM 2003 show, set to take place Jan 16-19 in Anaheim, California. Mike will appear once daily at the Digitech booth, where he will perform tracks from his solo catalogue. In related news, Digitech will release and announce a series of "guitar effects" products featuring Metal Mike's "signature" sound presets. Asked about the sounds, Metal Mike replied, "They are metal — period ... I'm not interested in half-assed rock tones, so expect what the guitar's supposed to sound: heavy."

Mike is currently recording an album with his side-project band, PAINMUSEUM, due out later this year. A U.S. tour is tentatively planned for May.
