METALLICA Confirm Helsinki Show, SLIPKNOT To Support

METALLICA have officially confirmed their appearance at the 45,000-capacity Olympic Stadium in Helsinki, Finland on Friday, May 28, 2004. Support at the show will come from SLIPKNOT and an as-yet-unannounced third band. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, December 15 at 9:00 a.m. via Lippupalvelu (

As previously reported, METALLICA are scheduled to headline the Aerodrome festival in Austria on June 11. In addition, METALLICA will play a massive show in Gothenburg, Sweden as part of their spring 2004 European tour. The gig will take place at the 55,000-capacity Ullevi stadium on May 30. Tickets for the Gothenburg show will go on sale on December 10. More dates are expected to be announced soon.
