MICHAEL MONROE Talks About HANOI ROCKS Split, Upcoming Solo Project

Monroe is the special guest stage announcer at this year's Ruisrock festival, which is being held July 3-5 at Ruissalo in Turku, Finland. According to the festival organizers, "during the weekend Michael Monroe will pick some personal favorites from the festival's artist roster and introduce their sets. When and where these special moments will take place will be a surprise right up to the last minute."
Among the artists scheduled to appear at this year's Ruisrock festival are SLIPKNOT, DISTURBED, IN FLAMES, AMORPHIS, CHILDREN OF BODOM, DEATHSTARS and FAITH NO MORE.
