9MM SOLUTION: New Songs Posted Online

March 26, 2007

9MM SOLUTION, the Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based band featuring ex-MORTA SKULD members Dave Gregor and Jason Hellman, has unveiled two new songs, "The Dream Is Dead" and "Suicide Letter", via its MySpace page. The group once again enlisted the help of SOIL bassist Tim King to produce, and Ulrich Wild (STATIC-X, DEFTONES, PANTERA) to mix the project.

"We feel this is the best recording we've ever done," commented singer Hobbes Caltous. "Tim really pushed the limits and boundaries of the band, and Ulrich's mix just slams."

"The songs turned out more incredible than we could have imagined," stated guitarist Dave Gregor. "This time around we felt as if we had truly got the right formula for our sound."

The new demo — featuring "Suicide Letter" and "The Dream Is Dead" combined with the previous recordings of "Hate This Place" and "Visualize to Terrorize" — will be sent out to key labels, radio stations, and press for the purpose of securing a deal for a full-length release.

"The band has worked hard and is finally at the level to where they deserve to put out a full length," explained King. "Ulrich Wild is behind the project and so am I. We are confident we have a band that needs to be heard on our hands."
