MNEMIC: Singer's Illness Forces ELSROCK Cancellation
August 21, 2007Danish modern thrashers MNEMIC have cancelled their previously announced August 25 concert at the Elsrock festival in Rijssen, Holland, due to a throat infection suffered by the group's singer Guillaume Bideau (ex-SCARVE).
Commented the band: "We apologize to anyone who've bought tickets and wanted to see MNEMIC at the fest, but unfortunately health has first priority for us. We will definitely make it up to you!"
MNEMIC is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, "Passenger". Produced by FEAR FACTORY's Christian Olde Wolbers at Track Record Studios (KISS, MEGADETH, AEROSMITH) in Los Angeles, "Passenger" features artwork by Asterik Studios (ANTHRAX, UNEARTH) plus guest vocal appearances by Jeff Walker (CARCASS, BRUJERIA) and Shane Embury (NAPALM DEATH, BRUJERIA). MNEMIC also completed a video for "Meaningless" with Revolver Film director Patric Ullaeus.
