MOTÖRHEAD Guitarist Talks About LEMMY's Hand Injury In New Video Interview

December 12, 2011

Metal-Trails.com conducted an interview with MOTÖRHEAD guitarist Phil Campbell on November 30, 2011 at Sporthalle in Hamburg, Germany. You can now watch the chat below.

When asked about MOTÖRHEAD bassist/vocalist Ian Fraser "Lemmy" Kilmister's hand injury which forced the cancelation of the band's concerts in Bristol (November 8) and Norwich (November 11),Campbell said, "He just cut his finger one day, so we had to cancel two shows in England. So now he's got some special skin, so it heals. So that's the only issue, really. . . We've done, like, 10 shows since we had to cancel the two, so I don't foresee any problem at all now. It's healing better every day."

MOTÖRHEAD released "The Wörld Is Ours Vol. 1 - Everywhere Further Than Everyplace Else" on November 14 via Motörhead Music / UDR / EMI. The DVD gives you the complete set from the band's supreme performance in Chile at the Teatro Caupolican in Santiago on April 9, 2011, shot by Banger Films and Sam Dunn ("Iron Maiden Flight 666", "Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage"). The disc continues with some tasty morsels from New York's Best Buy Theater and the Manchester Apollo.
