MOTÖRHEAD's LEMMY Jams With MELDRUM In Hollywood
January 21, 2004MOTÖRHEAD's Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister came up on stage during MELDRUM's set at Club Lingerie in Hollywood, California Tuesday night (Jan. 20) for a rendition of the MOTÖRHEAD classic "No Class" (a song previously covered by MELDRUM on a MOTÖRHEAD tribute album). In addition, MELDRUM performed a track they recently co-wrote with Lemmy, entitled "Miss Me When I'm Gone".
MELDRUM is the Swedish band led by former PHANTOM BLUE guitarist Michelle Meldrum (wife of EUROPE axeman John Norum). Currently unsigned, the group are continuing to write and record material to be included on the as-yet-untitled follow-up to their debut album, "Loaded Mental Cannon", due later in the year.
