MOTHRA Signs With SELFMADEGOD RECORDS

Selfmadegod Records has announced the signing of mathcore/metal band MOTHRA from Opole, Poland.

MOTHRA — Piotr Koryzma (vocals),Daniel Szwed (drums),Andrzej Burzynski (bass) and Pawel Stefan Rosiak (guitar) — has been destroying stages since 2000.

Several months after its inception, the band recorded its first promo single, entitled "Sugar '01". The musicians then focused on touring and writing new songs, eventually releasing a six-track EP in 2004.

The band's full-length debut, "Planet Decibelian", was released by the young Polish label Red Swallow in May 2006.

In September 2008, MOTHRA recorded seven tracks with renowned producer Szymon Czech (ANTIGAMA, BLINDEAD, THIRD DEGREE, NYIA, UNSUN) for its second full-length album, "Dyes", to be released in the spring.

The music of MOTHRA will definitely appeal for fans of THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, CONVERGE and BURNT BY THE SUN.
