MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT Calls It Quits

Dayton, Ohio-based sludge metal act MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT has reportedly split up after four years of existence. The group's guitarist/vocalist Gregory Lahm is said to have launched a new project called BLACK VIGILS.

MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT's last release, 2006's "The Ties That Blind", featured a guest appearance by Brent Hinds of MASTODON on the track "At Arm's Length".
