MUNICIPAL WASTE Confirmed For Germany's WACKEN OPEN AIR Festival

Crossover thrash merchants MUNICIPAL WASTE have been confirmed for next year's installment of the Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place August 2-4, 2007 in Wacken, Germany. The billing is now shaping up as follows (in alphabetical order):

MUNICIPAL WASTE reissued their "Hazardous Mutation" album in Europe with a free bonus live DVD on October 30 via Earache. The DVD was filmed at a show in the band's hometown of Richmond, Virginia. In addition to the live set, the DVD includes interviews with the band members, capturing the true comedy and humour that make MUNICIPAL WASTE so distinctive.

Since the release of "Hazardous Mutation" in 2005, MUNICIPAL WASTE has toured extensively all over Europe, U.K., U.S. and Australia, delivering their infectious brand of old school thrash to appreciative audiences, including a blistering set at this year's Reading and Leeds festivals.
